The World Memory Championship 2025 is a world-class event that gathers the brightest minds from across the globe to take on rigorous memory challenges and push the true limits of human intelligence.
This year’s championship goes beyond memory alone, featuring two parallel world-class competitions: the World Mind Mapping Championship and the World Speed Reading Championship — foundational tools that unlock brain potential and foster exceptional cognitive growth.
Held annually since 1991, the championship carries the legacy of the late Professor Tony Buzan – the inventor of Mind Mapping – and Raymond Keene, world chess grandmaster and co-founder of the event. It is one of the most prestigious arenas for those passionate about memory training and the exploration of human intelligence.
Over the course of 33 seasons, the World Mind Sports Championship has welcomed tens of thousands of competitors from more than 50 countries, becoming an international battleground where ordinary individuals rise to achieve the extraordinary – accomplishing feats once thought impossible.

How can I register for WMC 2025?
Participants can register online through the official WMC 2025 website. All necessary instructions and registration forms will be available there.
Is the registration fee refundable?
Registration fee is non-refundable, please check the information carefully before submitting.
When and where will the competition take place?
WMC 2025 will be held from December 11 to 14, 2025, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The exact venue will be announced at least 2 months prior to the event.
What are the age categories in the competition?
There are 4 official age groups:
• Kids: 0 – 12 years old;
• Juniors: 13 – 17 years old;
• Adults: 18 – 59 years old
• Seniors: 60 years and above
Do I need to be a memory expert to participate?
No. WMC welcomes both professional and amateur memory athletes, encouraging mental development at all levels.
What disciplines will be featured in WMC 2025?
The championship will include 10 standard memory disciplines, such as: Random Words, Binary Numbers, Speed Cards, Hour Cards, Names & Faces ...
Is there a registration fee to participate in the championship?
Yes. Entry fees may vary depending on the category and country of registration, and will be officially published on the WMC 2025 website.
Will participants receive a certificate?
Yes. All officially registered participants who complete the competition will receive an official WMC 2025 Certificate of Participation.
What should I bring to the competition?
Participants should bring:
+ A valid photo ID (National ID, Citizen Card, or Passport)
+ Personal items as instructed by the Organizing Committee
+ A personal laptop or tablet (mandatory for Memory contestants)
All official materials and competition sheets will be provided on-site.
